Right before our engagement, my sight—which I lost in a car crash years ago—unexpectedly came back.

I wanted to share the amazing news with Liam, but as I walked down the hallway, I froze.

On the first-floor sofa, Liam and his young secretary, Amber, were having wild, breathless sex.

The entire living room was filled with his heavy panting.

He was cupping Amber's mouth, keeping her from crying out.

I had heard these sounds a few times before. Whenever I asked, Liam would always tell me he was just working out in the living room.

Amber spotted me. There was no panic in her eyes—only pure provocation.

She pulled Liam's hand away and squealed, "Babe, let's change positions. I'm tired."

Liam's familiar, pampering voice reached my ears. "Alright, but keep it down. Otherwise, that little blind girl will start asking questions again."

"I don't get what my mom is thinking. She raised a blind girl like a princess for ten years, and now she wants me to marry her."

His tone turned incredibly disgusted when he mentioned me.

My heart shattered into a million pieces. I quietly retreated to my room, completely numb.
