Chapter 7

I pressed the call button for the nurse, and when she came in, I said, “Can you please get this homewrecker out of here? I didn’t invite her, and all she’s doing is rubbing it in my face.”

The nurse didn’t waste any time. She moved to escort Chloe out.

But Chloe raised her voice, “I’m in the VIP suite! You better watch out, or I’ll report you!”

The nurse paused, glancing at Chloe with a strange look in her eyes.

“Well, honey, that suite is being paid for with my money,” I interjected, enjoying the shift in power. “Now, please—get her out.”

The nurse, now fully understanding the situation, nodded and swiftly showed Chloe the door.
