My Ex-Boss’s Girlfriend Fired Me. Now Their Revenue Is Zero
Chapter 3
"You don't have the legal authority to write policies, Tiffany."
She smirked. "This company is going to be half mine soon. I can do whatever I want."
I didn't want to waste my breath on her. "Fine. Expect a lawsuit from my lawyer."
With that, I walked out.
I loaded my things into my car and drove home. Just as I sat down on my couch, my phone buzzed. I hadn't been removed from the casual Snapchat group yet.
Tiffany had posted a message:
"From now on, everyone must reply to my messages within ten minutes. If you ignore me, you’ll end up just like the trash I threw out today."
So, it really was because I left her on read.
Marcus must have saved a nation in his past life to deserve a curse of a girlfriend like her.
The group chat immediately filled with submissive replies. I found it pathetic, so I left the group and blocked her number.
My phone finally went quiet.
But Tiffany refusing to pay my hard-earned commission? I wasn't going to let that slide.
All of our high-value client contacts were saved on my personal phone. I composed a mass email to all of them, politely informing them that I had officially resigned and would no longer be managing their accounts.
Most of these clients were people I had personally brought in. They did business with the company solely because they trusted me.
If I was gone, they had no reason to stay.
Sure enough, within minutes, my phone started blowing up with Snapchat messages and emails. Clients were asking which agency I was moving to, promising to transfer their multi-million dollar contracts to follow me.
I replied to them one by one, explaining that I was taking some time off but would let them know as soon as I made my next move.
I spent the entire evening replying to messages until I fell asleep from exhaustion.
The next morning, Peter, my former coworker, sent me a text: "Leo, you’re a legend! Half of our major clients just called to cancel their contracts. Was that your doing?"
My plan had worked beautifully. I smiled and typed back: "I didn't do anything. I just told them the truth—that I don't work there anymore."
"Man, you're the goat," Peter replied. "Tiffany came in this morning and absolutely lost it. She started screaming at the sales team, demanding to know why they couldn't retain the clients. Honestly, three of the guys are already packing their bags. No one wants to deal with her abuse."
It looked like the entire office was on the verge of a mutiny. I couldn't wait to see how she’d explain this to Marcus.
Meanwhile, I contacted my lawyer to draft a formal demand letter for my unpaid commissions. It wasn't even about the money; it was about making her life a living hell.
A few days later, my phone rang. It was an unknown number.
I picked it up. "Hello?"
Immediately, Tiffany’s screeching voice blasted through the speaker.
"Leo! You absolute scumbag! Where did you hide the client database? They’re saying they only have your personal number! Hand over those contacts right now. That is company property! I will sue you for everything you have!"
I laughed out loud. She was clearly panicking.
"How can you be so disgusting? Give me the numbers now, or I swear to God, I’ll make sure you never work in this city again!"
